| Je me décrirais comme | This is my first attempt at anything like this so bear with me... What to say? Well I suppose what led me here was an interest in music. I spend a lot of time listening to and loving all kinds of music. My main predilections are obviously punk (the fun kind) and garage, but I also love early rock & roll, soul, vintage country etc... I spend a lot of time searching out new music and I love to share my discoveries. I'm into going out and dancing - be it either to a great live band or at an awesome rock & roll DJ night. I'm a full-time student and school has been my main focus for the past four years or so. I'm just finishing my undergraduate degree in film with a (somewhat reticent) eye towards the inevitability of grad school. When I'm not in school I'm clerkin' videos to the Toronto masses. I've been here for almost two years and I'm still getting settled and used to the city. I love it here and I have a great tight-knit group of friends, but I'm also interested in meeting new people with different perspectives on the city. Specifically, I'm looking for someone I can go to shows with, which is always more fun that going by yourself. I love good conversation and discourse (preferably over a pint or two), but I also look for quiet reflective moments. I'm not the sort of person who feels compelled to say everything that comes into his head, but at the same time, I'm no wallflower. All things considered I'm a pretty laid-back person and I'm pretty happy with where I'm at. But it's always nice to have someone to bounce things off, y'know? |
