Old school straightedge punker looking for someone else to hang with in the circle-pit of life! I am a local teacher/band director/musician who plays in a couple of bands. Drums is my main instrument, but I also play bass. I have been teaching band, percussion specifically for 15 years now. Also like to play hockey, and will watch it on TV, but prefer to see it live. I am very into history; the environment; political/social issues (just a little left of center), metaphysical/spiritual studies (some would call me "pagan", but I hate that word); gaming (AD&D and M:TG specifically); and educational travel(historical sights/museums etc).

Obviously being Straightedge I am not into drinking, smoking, drugs and all of the stupid negativity that comes with that. I could not see myself being a "babysitter" to anyone who is out of control with, or mired in the world of addiction. I don't have time for that.

I am just looking for someone who identifies with old school punk beliefs, has a definitive love of music, who is sane and in control of themselves, and who understands why Chuck Taylors, jeans and a comfy t-shirt are the best way to go. Looking for someone who is simple, "off the grid", and knows why Hot Topic is evil...and why ninja stuff in the pit is stupid!

I look for someone who is "above the pile". Someone who is confident in who they are, and can see through the bull crap of modern mainstream society. Someone who is definitely into music. Someone who knows why Hot Topic is evil and Circle pits are the best. Someone who is intellegent but not aloof. Someone who is comfortable in Chuck Taylors, jeans and a t-shirt. Someone who likes the cold, and not the beach.
