I’m afraid that I’m a complicated one. During the workweek I am an engineer who does research on batteries for electric vehicles. With my free time I play in a folk/celtic/punk band and work on various bizarre art projects for regional festivals that are organized by folks who are in the burning man community. I’ve made a lot of amazing friendships, but being split between these two wildly different lifestyles means I’ve had trouble finding anyone to pursue a more intimate sort of relationship with. I thought I’d give this site a try because punk rock has always been a driving force in my life since I discovered Bad Religion in high school. So many of my best experiences have involved going to shows, and one way or another I can attribute just about every lasting friendship and fond memory to my involvement in the artist community. So here are some things I enjoy, and would frankly rather be doing right now.

- Calling up a bunch of friends and going out to talk about life the universe and everything until they turn the lights up on us.
- Playing shows with my band. I am the rhythm guitarist, lead singer and songwriter. I am also the organizer of mayhem/herder of cats when it comes to making things happen.
- Going to see a show with a band I’ve had the good fortune of playing with in the past, or seeing something brand new.
- Camping at music festivals… It’s not really camping… it’s more that you are going to a show, drinking most of the day, and sleeping in a tent… but don’t knock it till you try it!
- Regional burns are great, and if I had time, I’d do more of them. It’s a great way to meet people and be a part of a fun little community for a few days before returning to reality.

Someone who can laugh at themselves. Someone who means what she says and follows through with her plans. Someone who isn't afraid to be strait forward and honest. Someone who likes to smile when she argues and whose mind moves a mile a minute.
